Checkers, also known as draughts, is the friendly board game almost everyone learned as a child. Tap one of your red pieces and every square you can move to lights up, so there is never any guesswork. Jump the computer's pieces to capture them, and reach the far row to be crowned a king that moves in all four directions.
Pick Easy, Medium, or Hard to choose how hard the computer plays. On Easy and Medium there are two helpers — Undo takes back your last move, and Hint highlights a strong jump or move when you would like a nudge. Hard mode hides the helpers and thinks several moves ahead.
With large pieces, clear highlights, and no time limit, it is a relaxing game you can play a little or a lot. Every round is a gentle workout for planning, pattern spotting, and thinking a step ahead.
