Math Market turns everyday arithmetic into a gentle stroll around a village market. Pick a stall and play a short round: the Grocery Stall asks the kind of questions you meet every day — adding up a basket, counting your change, working out a sale price, a tip or the time the bus arrives. Quick Sums serves up simple calculations one at a time on a big keypad, the way the popular brain-training books do.

At the Apple Cart, tap apples whose numbers add up to the number on the sign and they fly into your basket. The number changes with every basket, and the cart always refills with a way to make it, so you never get stuck. The Balance Scale asks you to find the missing weight that levels the scale, or to spot which side is heavier. At the Coin Purse you pay for each item with the exact coins and bills, just like at the till, and in the Bingo Hall the caller reads out a sum — work it out, daub the answer on your card and shout Bingo when you complete a line.

Choose Easy, Medium or Hard to set the size of the numbers. Every round finishes: there are no lives, no countdown and no penalty for taking your time. A wrong answer shows the working, Quick Sums gives you a second try, and the Hint button is always there. Short, regular sessions of simple arithmetic are a pleasant way to keep attention, working memory and processing speed in practice.

Math Market Questions

Is Math Market free?

Yes. It is completely free to play online — no payment, no ads, and no account required.

Is there a timer?

No. There is no countdown and no lives, so every round finishes. Faster rounds earn a few extra rating points, but you can always take your time.

What are the six stalls?

The Grocery Stall has everyday money, time and recipe questions. Quick Sums is mental arithmetic on a big keypad. The Apple Cart asks you to tap apples that add up to the number shown, which changes after every basket. The Balance Scale asks you to find a missing number or say which side is heavier. At the Coin Purse you pay the exact price with coins and bills, and the Bingo Hall is math bingo: work out the caller's sum and daub the answer on your card.

What happens if I get an answer wrong?

The game shows you the working so you can see how it is done. In Quick Sums and on the Balance Scale you also get a second try before the answer is shown.

How hard are the questions?

Easy keeps to small whole numbers and whole dollars. Medium adds cents, simple percentages and times tables. Hard has bigger numbers, tips and two-step sums. Quick Sums also adjusts gently as you play.
